How Many Sessions will I need?
You should see instant results after your first wrap. We recommend a course of 6 for maximum results and for maximum inch loss. Most clients require maintenance treatments once or twice a year after the initial course of treatments.
What Should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Please do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours before your treatment. Drink plenty of water before and after your wrap. To help your skin absorb the product, please bath or shower on the day of your treatment and exfoliating your skin well. Do not apply any creams or lotions to your skin for 24 hours before. You may wish to wear underwear which you do not mind getting product on during the wrap, and bring a change of underwear with you for after your wrap.

Do I need to do anything before treatment?
Shrinking Violet wraps work by lipolysis. It is essential that the skin & the metabolism are prepared well for the wrap by following the pre-treatment advice. Those that follow this advice will enjoy optimum results.
Pre-Treatment Advice
Drink plenty of water (around 2 litres a day) in the days prior to your wrap.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine and fizzy drinks for at least 24 hours beforehand.
Do not eat a heavy meal before your wrap. Eat small meals regularly before and after wrap. Do not skip meals, as this will slow the metabolism.
Drinking alcohol after the wrap during loss period (72hrs) will cause fluid retention so will give false results.
To help penetration of the product through the skin, please DO NOT use moisturiser/lotion or use heavy shower/bath creams on the day of the appointment. For best results, please shower/bath the day before and on the day of your treatment, exfoliating the skin using an oil free product and a loofa type cloth/gloves or body brush.
The active ingredients are applied within an essential oil. Please wear underwear or a bikini that you do not mind getting oil on. For your comfort it is advisable to bring a dry set of underwear with you to wear home after your treatment.
Should you have a Soya Allergy you cannot be treated
After Treatment Advice
The treatment continues to work for 72hrs after your session, so losses can increase over this time-frame.
To help the product remain on the skin, do not shower or swim for 24 hours, avoid exercise & excess sweating for 24 hours.
Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and fizzy drinks for at least 24 hours, and between wraps should you be booked in for a course.
Drink plenty of water, ideally about 2 litres per day for the next 72 hours. This continues the cleansing process and the flushing out of toxins.
You may notice an increase in urination for the following 3 days. This is completely normal as the body eliminates the toxins and fat.
Follow a healthy lifestyle to include balanced diet with regular exercise.
